A fast-maturing leek great for northern areas. Can produce long shafts up to 12 inches with a sweet mild flavor. Leeks can take a while to mature and can withstand cold weather in the fall so be patient; read the growing instructions. Can be pulled anytime from pencil thickness on. Can be used anywhere onions are called for. Especially leek and potato soup! Organic.
