Russian Red

Russian Red
A popular hardneck rocambole grown for its large copper-veined, purple-blotched bulbs. Strong flavor with a sweet aftertaste. Brought to the Northwest by Russian Doukhobor immigrants in the 1900s. Expect 8-13 brown cloves per bulb. Very winter-hardy. Stores well. Approx. 65-75 cloves per lb. Organic.

We hope to offer Russian Red once harvest and grading are done. Please check back after September 1st for availability.
