Sure to draw attention anywhere, this tuber is deep dark purple inside and out, with a rather earthy flavor that some really love. Still a little wild, Purple Peruvian has a large rangy plant. Its numerous tubers set far from the plant; be sure to harvest them all to prevent their becoming "volunteers" in next year's crop. Very late; frost tolerant. One customer told us, "While all my other potatoes succumbed to leafhoppers and Colorado Potato Beetles, Peruvians kept on chugging!" «Heirloom» Conventional Seed.
