Though not widely grown on a commercial scale, Butte has gained popularity as a fine late-maturing russet with excellent baking and frying qualities. Long, lightly-russeted tubers are higher in Vitamin C and protein than other varieties. Try them baked with sour cream and chives! Resistant to common scab and hollow heart; field resistance to late blight. Medium upright spreading plant with light purple flowers. Organic Seed.
